Hey Tracy. Funny you should say that now.

I too have been looking at my resources and the sense of the finite. I never thought I’d be thinking this way but a combination of factors have brought me here.

First is the business course I did with you in 2017 - the changes I made as a result transformed my practice making it much more visible and viable.

Second is my daughter having to move back home with a cancer diagnosis. Her illness and treatment have affected us all and made me be much more careful with the finite nature of my resources.

This August and September I have trialled informally reducing client contact to two days/ week but taking that extra day as a day off.

I have continued to redirect those clients who, for various reasons, I don’t wish to work with.

My income has risen.

The next step is to increase my prices in 2022.

The wallpaper on my phone currently reads ‘become more aware of what’s worth your energy’. My constant reminder.

Thanks for this thought provoking piece. I’ve been getting clearer about where I want to go with my work and for how much longer. Interesting others are too.

Hi Natalie,

Thanks so much for taking the time to reply.

I'm sorry to hear that your daughter isn't well. It's good that she is able to be home with you and have the care she needs. I hope that her treatment is going well.

The sense of the finite is so interesting. Once I saw it, I couldn't 'unsee' it. Even though it has been there all the time, I wasn't really aware of it till I read Four Thousand Weeks. It has made me reflect also on Buddhist teachings.

It makes me very happy to hear how the course you did with me in 2017 helped you take your practice to where you wanted it to be. I'm proud to have been part of your journey, but you are the one who put it all into place.

If you every have any ideas for topics you'd like me to write about, I would be very glad to hear them.

Lots of love to you and your family, Natalie.

Thanks again for sharing.

Hi Tracy. Great Newsletter as always. I seem to be on a similar path. I have thrown myself into my practice the last 21 years. It feels like time to semi retire with big chunks of time off. I am trying to work out how to do that without losing all my clients. Lots of options like working with another homeopath etc so I will work on it the next few months. Have a great October. Jude

Hi Jude,

It's always good to hear from you.

Semi-retire – I love that idea! I'm not quite ready for that myself, but am sure it's not far off. Please do keep in touch and let me know how it goes.

Warmest wishes to you,
