Homeopathy, periods, + hormonal birth control
Early bird!
Tuesday 15th June
9.30am - 2pm
£30 Early bird ✨
£40 (from 26th May)
I treated my first case of pill detox while still at homeopathy college more than fourteen years ago.
Once I started in practice I found myself treating many women with period problems, lots of whom were looking for support around coming off the pill.
These clients often presented with varying degrees of period pain, breast pain, PMS, PMDD, excessive bleeding, endometriosis, irregular cycles, and PCOS.
In the last couple of decades hormonal birth control has evolved to include different types of pill, coil, implant plus morning-after pill, and ‘chemical’ abortions.
Changing times
In recent years there have been encouraging signs of change in attitudes and understanding around the complex biological process that is menstruation.
There have been many new books, apps, podcasts etc. around the themes of hormones and natural fertility.
As homeopaths, we have always seen women and girls with a wide range of symptoms related to periods and fertility, but balancing hormones and resolving symptoms are not necessarily as easy as it used to be.
Organ drainage, sarcodes, nosodes, tautopathy and homeobotanicals are useful tools to address issues that include years or even decades of synthetic birth control hormones.
Research shows that while hormonal birth control continues to be prevalent among women of all ages, it is less popular with women in the 'Millenial' group, and even less so with 'Generation Z'.
The 'morning-after pill' has proven to be helpful for women who need to avoid pregnancy after condoms fail.
'Medical' (drug induced) and surgical abortions are both traumatic.
As practitioners we need to understand all of these areas in order to feel confident in navigating them with our clients.
We want to give support and up-to-date information as well as effective treatment protocols.
In this webinar I will present current information about period health, hormonal birth control, practical homeopathic strategies and skills for client management.

Tips from 14 years of practice planning
I admit it, I love journals and have at least 4 on the go at any given time!
The photo at the top of this newsletter is one from my friend Lulu.
I’m using it for my quarterly planning.
I also have a bullet journal for daily/weekly/monthly planning and review.
Then there’s my morning journal where I just write thoughts onto paper - this is called ‘morning pages’ and it’s something I learned through a creativity programme called The Artist’s Way.
Lastly I have a year planner where I write out yearly goals.
That’s a lot of planning, I know, but it helps me stay focused so I know what I am doing!
It also helps me with life/work balance. ⚖️
I think better with a pen in my hand, and when I make written notes, I am more likely to remember them.
Congratulations graduates!
If you are a recent homeopathy graduate, congratulations! 👩🏻🎓👩🏽🎓👩🏾🎓👨🏼🎓
I know that you’re probably ready for a break from studying, and well-deserved!
But if you are keen to get your practice up and running, my new course could be for you.
Radiant Startup takes place over 2 Saturdays – July 4th, and September 5th.
Plus, I’m offering a free practice planning workshop on Saturday 12th June.
Are you wondering why this new course is all on Saturdays?
Here’s the reason why.
I know that many new graduates are working a job with regular hours, and so I decided to make it more possible for them to attend the live sessions, instead of watching recordings.
Join the free Practice Planning Workshop and/or find out more about Radiant Startup here.
