I hope you are having a good week.
This is a short email course on spring cleaning your practice - 5 emails, one every day this week.
Letβs look at your workspace today.
The goal: Create a bright, calm workspace
The strategy: Clear, clean and brighten
Clear out old papers - notes, post-its, catalogues etc.
Clean drawers, cupboards, shelves - damp dust to freshen everything up
Brighten up your desk - a plant, crystal or quote to inspire you
Your physical workspace affects your energy and ability to work effectively.
We need our space to be organised, with clear, bright energy to inspire us.
It could be a whole office, study, or just a corner of the living room.
Here are some ideas for ways to spring clean your workspace.
Declutter and toss or shred old papers π
File anything essential π
Test all your pens and only keep the ones you like writing with π
Sharpen your pencils βοΈ
Take all your books down - damp dust and reorganise them π
Sort and tidy remedies π§°
Sort and tidy stationery π¨
Water your plants π¦
Maybe buy a new plant! πͺ΄
Add something inspiring - a crystal or quote maybe π
Now your workspace is clean and fresh, itβs time to keep it this way!
Take a few minutes to straighten up your desk and office at the end of the day, and do another big tidy at the end of the week. β
Put away all the files you have finished with
Take out the ones you will be needing next week
Wipe and clean all your surfaces
Empty the bin
Use an essential oil or flower essence room spray
Special tips for taking care of plants πͺ΄
Water your plants twice a week
Mist them daily
Donβt let them sit in water
Do they seem to want more light?
More shade?
Repot them when they are too big for their pot
Give them plant feed once a week during spring and summer
I hope this has inspired you to create a space where you feel you can do your best work. β¨
Thatβs all for today.
