I’m so glad we’re in May!
There are two long weekends, and it’s a birthday month for me and my youngest, so lots to look forward to. 🎂
I started the year with a long list of personal ‘life laundry’ tasks (who doesn’t?) and thankfully am nearing the end.
This frees me up to review some overdue tasks in my work life, and as we are in the season for spring cleaning, I will also share my short email course with tips for spring-cleaning your practice, one a day for 4 days next week.
If you are new here, welcome! I’m Tracy, a homeopath in east London. I’ve been in practice for 17 years and sharing my practice reflections for 9 of them.
Hayfever webinar on replay 🤧
I love your presentations, very clear and inspiring, and you are very generous with your course notes, templates etc, and most of all your warm presence. Thank you : )
Really love learning from you, you are such a good teacher.
Thank you to everyone who joined me on Homeopathy for Hay fever and Allergies last week and for sharing great questions!
If you planned to join but missed it, you can still purchase the replay here.
Please note: all my webinars are available for unlimited replay!
They are hosted in your dashboard on Crowdcast where you can access them anytime. ✨
Practice housekeeping 🧼
Recently I’ve been thinking about all the different ‘hats’ we wear as homeopaths.
I love to create systems around my work.
Homeopath
Educator
Counsellor
Admin assistant
Book-keeper etc.
Over the years I’ve tried to create systems so that I use my time effectively.
Once a month I do some practice housekeeping to make sure everything is running smoothly.
It doesn’t take long and it always leads to people getting back in touch with me.
My new client form asks for permission to add them to my newsletter list, so I make sure I add the new email addresses before I send a newsletter.
I download a report from Timely for ‘clients not retained’ since the start of the year and select which ones to send an email to say hello.
I look back at clients booked in six months ago to see who I can ask to leave me a Google review.
When I make time to complete these tasks, within a couple of hours I receive replies which result in new bookings, and, on a good day, a review.
By making these tasks part of my monthly routine, I keep the energy flowing in my practice.
When I get in touch with past clients it shows that I care about their progress.
My core group of clients is what helps my practice thrive in the long term.
My newsletter keeps me in touch with them.
Reviews are my number one way to attract new clients to my practice. Everyone tells me they read them.
To keep my website up in the Google rankings I make sure I try to encourage new reviews regularly.
This is ultimately something I have no control over, but by reaching out to people I know have been happy with my work I am at least trying.
Do you have any practice housekeeping routines?
Have they evolved and changed over time?
Leave a comment, I’d love to hear from you and I promise to reply.
Miasms and Nosodes for the Modern Homeopath 🧩
Friday 23rd May
11am – 1.30pm BST
£30 early bird (until Friday 9th May)
As modern day homeopaths, we are asked to treat people who are chronically ill with layers of disease and multiple prescribed medications.
Complex cases can be hard to repertorise.
Drug layers create confusion with long lists of vague symptoms.
Nosodes bring energy and clarity to confused and complex cases.
A good working knowledge of miasms is an essential and effective prescribing tool in everyday practice.
In this webinar, I’m sharing everything I know about miasmatic prescribing, including materia medica and remedy relationships.
Student discount available – use the same code as the one for Hayfever, or reply to this email.
If you joined this webinar before and would like to join again, please email me also.
(Early bird £30 until Friday 9th May)
