One way forward

+ a free Practice Planning Workshop

I don’t know about you but I’m so glad to be seeing signs of spring. 🌷

It’s been a long, cold, winter, that’s for sure.

I hope you are doing ok and finding your way through the waves of pandemic burnout we’ve been experiencing.

I think I may not be the only one who neglects herself while taking care of other people. :-)

If that strikes a chord, try to take clear some space in your schedule so you can catch up with yourself.

This is a good way forward for me, I find.

Clearing space to catch up and then see what I can do to get ahead.

It’s always valuable to make time to get yourself organised for the next couple of months.

Here’s what I’m currently working on.

• Plan and write a new post for my homeopathy blog

Success on your terms

When you started out in homeopathy practice, did you have a clear idea of what you were hoping to achieve?

Not entirely?

Me neither.

Did you start training simply for the love of homeopathy?

Or were you looking for a new career with more freedom and enjoyment from your work?

Or maybe both?

I feel lucky to be at a point where I feel secure in my practice and I’m happy with my earnings, but I still wish someone had sat me down at the beginning and:

a) given me some direction

b) told me to do some maths

I wish I’d had a clear idea of what I was aiming for and how I would know when I got there.

One of the amazing things about having any kind of business at the moment is that we can see what others are doing, thanks to social media.

We can get ideas and inspiration from our friends and colleagues.

But, it can also lead us to base our own success on what we see around us.

You don’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.

The only thing that matters is what you want from your practice.

Then you will know when you are making progress.

With this in mind, I would like to invite you to a new Practice Planning Workshop, which is running twice in the lead up to Radiant Business School.

Practice Planning Workshop

10 am - 11 am Friday 12th, March

I would like to invite you to join me for a free one-hour Practice Planning Workshop at 10 am on Friday, 12th March.

This is a practical workshop with a downloadable workbook that I’ll guide you through.

In the workshop, you’ll have a chance to reflect on where you are now, and to acknowledge yourself for your efforts and achievements.

Then you’ll use a simple planning framework to map out some ways to move forward in the next couple of months.

The workshop is designed to give you some useful tools that you can take away and use on a monthly or quarterly basis.

It’s also a ‘taster’ for Radiant Business School which is happening for 4 weeks starting in April.

I will talk about this at the end, but I want you to know there are no ‘funnels’ and it’s not a ‘hard sell’ in any way.

If you’ve attended any of my webinars before you hopefully know that you will leave feeling positive and full of ideas to take you forward.

My mission for Your Radiant Business is to offer inspiration and practical guidance for homeopaths who want to take their business to the next level.

Brain food

1. Study identifies ‘post-traumatic growth’ emerging from COVID-19 lockdowns
   This article based on research by the University of Bath is really positive news. I shared it in my recent ‘Homeopathy with Tracy’ newsletter and am going to use to as inspiration for my next blog post.
   

2. How to make the sliding scale work better for you and your clients
   If like me, you offer concessions, or you want to, this could be interesting reading. The ‘pay it forward’ is an idea that I haven’t offered directly, although I realise that this is something I want to think about.
   

3. Plodding and bursting
   An analysis of two different strategies for getting things done. I find it helpful to think in terms of the energy needed to get started on something new, and then momentum to maintain progress.
   

4. Homeopathy kindergarten and pre-school primer
   US homeopath Paola Brown was lucky to grow up with homeopathy. She wants children to grow up with homeopathy knowledge so she developed teaching materials for parents and teachers. Free lessons to download as well as a paid option
   

5. Homeopathy for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder with Hilery Dorrian

   This is being organised by Slough Homeopathy. Contact them directly via email sloughhomeopathycpd@hotmail.co.uk for more info. I’ve blocked out a day in my schedule for this as Hilery is one of my favourite teachers.
