I hope you’ve enjoyed the long weekends we’ve had lately and your practice is going well as we move into the summer.
Thank you to everyone who joined me on Money Wisdom last month, a webinar on the financial side of running a practice.
I had a lot of requests to offer it again, so I hope you can join me on Saturday 17th June (scroll down for more information and how to book). 👛
I’m also excited to offer a new homeopathy webinar on Organ Support and Structured Prescribing on Friday 30th June.
Organ support is a topic that I’m often asked about, and this webinar covers it in more depth, including how to incorporate it into a structured prescribing method using a triad of remedies.
If you are new here, welcome! I’m Tracy, a homeopath in east London. I’ve been in practice for 16 years and have been writing this newsletter for 8 of them.

Things I’ve learned since I stopped dispensing remedies 🪴
It’s been nine months since I decided not to dispense homeopathic remedies to new patients.
That was a huge decision at the time, and I’m so glad I did it!
My prescription system
It took me a while to figure out my system for doing it. (Over the years I’ve tried to create systems for everything I do so that I use my time effectively.)
Here’s what it looks like.
When someone requests a Discovery Call, I send an email outlining my fees and how often I would expect to see them, plus my client-therapist agreement.
I’ve added an extra paragraph explaining that their prescription is dispensed via Helios and they will pay for remedies separately.
During the Discovery Call, I explain the process verbally and ask if they have any questions.
At the end of the first appointment, I explain what happens next, and remind them to look for the Helios email with the link to pay.
Once I have decided on the prescription, I have a template for the email I send to Helios.
Each prescription is sent in a separate email, with the patient's name and date in the subject header.
I start the email by asking them to email the patient a link for payment.
I also include the patient name, address, and email.
The last part of the email is a list of remedies in the prescription, whether powders or No. 6 Pillules, and the size of the bottle.
I then email the client with notes and instructions for the prescription. The subject header of the email says: Prescription notes and the date.
I’m obsessed with clear subject lines!
I make sure I use one in every email to make sure it is easy to find for reference later if needed.
The difference between Helios and Ainsworths
The reason I send prescriptions via Helios and not Ainsworths is that Helios allows me to send a prescription for them to bill to the patient.
Ainsworths currently does not offer that service. If I ordered through them, I would need to pay.
Some patients prefer to pick up their remedies in person, so I just send them an email with the details and they take it to Ainsworths or Helios, depending on their preference.
Other useful things to know
4g is usually plenty (£5.40)
Remedies available in a Helios Kit can be ordered as a 2g refill (£2.95)
I prefer to prescribe nosodes as powders (up to 5 for £5.65)
The new over-the-counter range is great!
They have a useful range of combination remedies too!
Ainsworths has a different range of combinations that I sometimes use

Early bird: £40 until Monday 19th June

Webinar overview
I've found that using a structured approach to prescribing is helpful in my practice as I see a lot of cases with drug and symptom layers.
The principle of a Triad can be adapted in a variety of ways:
Acute + Chronic + Nosode
Organ Support + Chronic + Nosode
Organ Support + Sarcode + Nosode
Organ Support + Balance + Sarcode
We can adapt the method to each case in order to:
support organs and systems of the body
prescribe on emotional or physical aetiology
strengthen the constitution with nosodes
Three remedies acting in harmony mean that your patients see results more quickly.
Included in this webinar
Theory and context
Common remedy relationships
How to select nosodes
When to use a sarcode
Key organ support remedies
A variety of case examples
There are also a clear set of notes sent to you in advance.
FAQS
The webinar can be joined live or watched on replay.
There's no expiry date.
